OverviewOver the course of a semester, I got insight in to the nonprofit world by conducted extensive research and developing a one-year marketing plan for a non-profit organization. I was given the opportunity to choose an organization involved in a cause that I am passionate about, which led me to work for The With Hope Foundation. With Hope is a nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention and education throughout high schools, middle schools, and communities. They work to educate, equip, and empower individuals in recognizing the warning signs of suicide and connecting them to the resources they need for critical lifesaving intervention.
I had the privilege of assessing their internal and external environment to create marketing strategies that could be utilized for success and growth in the next year. Throughout my initial research I spoke to With Hope donors, volunteers, staff, schools, and more to gain a better understanding of the impact With Hope had on the community and to gain insight on the industry. With Hope has impacted thousands of lives in the past seventeen years of operation, but this credibility and success is only shared through word of mouth. This plan focuses on ways to showcase the credibility and success With Hope, along with finding creative partnerships, tracking systems and fundraising ideas.
